Plan A was to cross the road, as a socially distanced group, wearing unusual hats, masks and winter coats. Then COVID intervened…so I asked participants to cross the road where they live and send me their videos. These have all gone into a base video filmed with my phone at the original location. The resulting work shows surprising synchronicity and unlikely encounters. Videos came from ENGLAND; SWEDEN; USA; FRANCE; SCOTLAND and TAIWAN.
The average distance between participants was 507 miles.
